Best Robot Vacuum Cleaner and Mop
Robot vacuum cleaners and mops are a great method to quickly clean up messes. The top robot vacuums and mops in my tests come with top-quality mapping and navigation, picking up Cheerios as well as tangled wires, and fake dog turds, without leaving them behind.
You can also schedule cleaning chores using an app and track their progress.
1. Roborock S8 maxV Ultra
The Roborock S8 MaxV is the most efficient robot mop and vacuum combo. It comes with the most recent features. This premium vacuum is quick and agile and picked up human hair and pet hair almost perfectly in our Debris Pickup Test. It features a sleek and elegant app interface that includes a miniature map of your home and buttons on the screen to allow manual control.
The S8's Dirt-Detection Technology allows it to alter the cleaning mode according to the level of dirt. It will wash its mopping pads more often when it encounters dust. Carpeted areas are given the first priority when mopping with mopping pads that are damp.
The mop's roller has a number of other smart features, including a dock that connects to the plumbing system in your home to wash and clean it without you having to manually refill the mop. You can even use voice commands to control the built-in voice assistant of the S8 using the phrase "Hey Rocky" to specify room cleaning, modes, and granular controls using just your voice.
2. Yeedi Cube
The Yeedi Cube offers a variety of options for those seeking an automated robot vacuum that is hands-free that can also mop. It's one of a variety of robot vacuums that also include mops but comes at a cheaper price than most of the competition.
Like all robovacs, the Yeedi Cube requires a little amount of work to start, including setting up an account on the manufacturer's app and connecting it to your WiFi network. Once you've completed this, the robot will start vacuuming and mops easily.
It is important to note that mapping takes quite a while, and it may require a few attempts before the Yeedi Cube has an accurate view of your space. The object detection is an issue that is hit-and-miss. It was able to skirt around furniture and other obstacles, but it was stuck on a rug with tassels, and needed to turn to get it out of the way. These are minor flaws and the Yeedi Cube remains a great choice for those in need of an appliance that can do everything.
3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete
The Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete delivers a three-in-one home cleaning solution. Its advanced mopping features a rotating motion like hand scrubbing which results in floors that are genuinely cleaned, not just cleaned. The detachable stick vacuum is a game changer that enables you to reach spots even a robotic vacuum can't.
This model is essentially the same as the popular X2 Omni, but with a slightly higher suction power of 8700Pa, and a few additional clever features. The RGBD sensor upgrade can be used to learn your home's surroundings and provide the ability to avoid obstacles in a dynamic manner. The app's smart features allow you to alter a variety of settings including AI cleanings and virtual boundaries.
The X2 Combo is also self-prepping, with both the robot vacuum as well as the mop returning to their charging base after each task to clean their pads, empty their dust bins, and put the waste in a self-sealing bag. This helps to keep the system clean and also prevents allergens from returning to the system. And its battery life is long enough to cover large areas without the need for a recharge during cleaning.
4. Eufy S1 Pro
The Eufy S1 Pro is a premium robot vacuum and mop that has impressive features for a reasonable price. It has an impressive 8,000 Pa suction, a moving floor brush for carpets, and a great obstacle avoidance. It also features an unique mopping method that utilizes a roller continuously spraying with water to collect dirt, and then dump it in the water tank.
Its navigation system was efficient. It avoided stairs and navigated close to walls without crashing. However, it had trouble with finely engrained debris and didn't always remove raised thresholds in rooms. Its operating noise level is also relatively high, so it may be less of a set-and-forget model than others.
As with most robotic vacuums and mops the S1 Pro comes with a docking station that can refill its clean water, empty its dustbin and mop pad, as well as wash and dry its mop. This makes maintenance easier and allows the S1 Pro spend more time cleaning floors in line with a regular schedule. You can manage all of its functions using the Eufy app, which gives a clear overview and plenty of options for configuration.
5. Freo X Ultra
The Freo X Ultra is one of the top robot vacuums/mowers available, and offers amazing mixed vacuuming and mopping performance. Its LIDAR mapping sensor can detect furniture legs and other obstacles with decent precision, and the application lets users fine-tune the map coverage, set no-go zones, and modify cleaning preferences. The Freo's brush is designed to stop hair from wrapping itself around it. This is an issue with a lot of robotic vacuums.
The Mop Mode is impressive too, with Reuleaux triangular mops that spin at 180 RPM and exert up to 12N of downward pressure. The mopping system has intelligent carpet detectors, which raise the pads when they're near soft surfaces in order to keep them from getting contaminated.
The all-in-one docking station serves as a hands-free maintenance centre that is able to wash and dry the mops before refilling them with water and detergent. The base station has an integrated dust removal system that compacts dust and allows for 7 weeks of uninterrupted maintenance.
6. S10
A few hundred dollars less than the S8 This robot does a bang-up job of keeping my office spotless and also tackle the corners of my tiny apartment. best budget robot vacuum uses laser mapping and a camera to create an image of your home and knows where not to go. It also has a detector for objects and obstructions that will stay clear of things like toys and dog bowls (but not Poop), unlike many vacuums.
Other great features include a self emptying dustbin, a mop that is self-washing, adjustable for water temperature and a side-reaching mops that can reach areas that other mops miss. You can also alter the settings for each room and create cleaning schedules.
Like the S8, it has multi-room smart mapping and can distinguish between laminate flooring, carpets and hardwood with high-pile rugs. It can also avoid cleaning rooms that aren't dirty if you're looking to save time. If you have a variety of flooring in your home and don't want to spend extra money on a Roborock that has advanced mapping features it is a great choice.
7. Q5 Pro

This robot is an excellent choice to consider if you're looking for a robot that can perform regular maintenance as well as touch-ups to wet messes. It comes with a variety of features including self-emptying dustbins as well as an additional water refill dock, and adjustable settings in the app. It is surprisingly quiet and easily moves around furniture legs or socks. It's unable to pick up the tangled tassels of a rug and its battery drains more quickly than other models we've tested.
With a price tag of less than $250 it's the Q5 Pro is a bargain-friendly powerhouse that packs serious suction and a handy automation into a sleek. It didn't perform as well as the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra in our tests of vacuuming, but overall it did very well. It has a variety of cleaning modes, ranging from the quiet mode with low power for light debris to the more powerful Turbo mode for carpeted areas. It even has the ability to automatically remove and replace its mop pads without getting your carpets wet.
8. K10 Plus
The K10 Plus is an excellent robot vacuum and mop that can be used even in small areas. It's extremely silent and fast, and it can navigate tight spaces with ease. It also does a very excellent job of pulling pet hair out of carpeting.
It's smaller than its rivals however it doesn't sacrifice any features. It has decent suction power and can be programmed to take pictures of each object it picks (i.e. chew toys, socks), and mark them in the app as "not found' to ensure that they are not taken up in subsequent cleanings. The photos are encrypted and aren't tied to your account.
It's great at vacuuming, but not as well at mopping. It makes use of disposable wipes that are clipped onto the bot's bottom, and then drags them across your floor. Compare this to the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra or Narwhal with water reservoirs, and automatically wash and attach their mophead.
